We are Brian and Loren and we are the owners and operators of FreeBird Adventures. We were traveling the world “back in the day” looking for the perfect idea to bring to Canada for travelers like us – outdoorsy, want to see it all, hate typical tours and love the thrill of the next adventure. From all our travels and living overseas, as well as our incredible knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia, we came up with the ultimate trip! It’s what we would do, if we were you!

We pride ourselves in doing things not only right, but perfect. And as perfectionists, this means doing it ourselves. We do not hire out guides and drivers, and you never have to worry about who is “in charge” or what kind of staff you are going to have. It is always us. We do the driving, cook your meals and show you all the sites, as well as do all the bookings for your adventures and organizing of all your activities. We are your guides, your information source and your entertainment. We know we will surpass all your expectations, because it is what we love to do. We want you to have an amazing trip and know you will come to love Canada, and all it has to offer, just as much as we do.

Having the Rocky Mountains and the province of British Columbia in our backyard, led to years of exploring and camping, which in turn led to our love of Canada and the outdoors. Add this to our need for adrenaline rushes and being active in various sports, led us to finding a business where we could do this all the time. And for the past 7 years, we have been literally “living the dream”; paragliding, bungee jumping, golfing, swimming, zip trekking, kayaking, soaring, white water rafting and hiking all summer long. Traveling where we love, while showing people the best of our country, and having a great time doing it – all while calling it a job. Does is get any better?
